Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to take this time to welcome you back to Heritage Academy for the 2025-2026 school year. I hope that you have had a restful summer break and are looking forward to an exciting and successful school year. Of course, our school year cannot be successful without our school establishing a strong partnership with you, our awesome parents and guardians. This school year our two priorities will be:

  1. Cultivate a literate community in which students read and write with clarity and fluency across the curriculum
  1. Embed a data-driven, multi-tiered system of support to improve student mastery of standards across all subgroups.

Our goal is to ensure that all of our students have an opportunity to excel academically, socially, and emotionally, but in order to accomplish this we need your assistance in three areas:

  1. All students must be at school on time each and every day. School begins promptly at 7:45 a.m.
  2. Please check your child’s progress weekly by downloading the Infinite Campus App which allows you to see your child’s grades as they are recorded. You may secure your Infinite Campus credentials from the main office.
  3. Please support our three (3) APTT (Academic Parent Teacher Team) Meetings this school year. These meetings allow you to see how your child is performing in literacy and math skills, and provide you with resources to help your child at home.
  4. Ensure your child completes homework assignments and reads at least 30 minutes every night. Your child will only improve with constant practice at school as well as at home.

We are glad to have you here with us this school year and we want to assure you that we will do our best to help your child show academic, emotional, and social growth.

I am proud to serve as the Assistant Principal of Heritage Academy Elementary School. It is truly an honor to work with staff, parents, and community members to provide an exceptional learning environment that drives academic lifelong success for our scholars.
 
I began my journey as an educator in Florida teaching 4th and 5th grade students. My unwavering passion to help provide children with the necessary tools to reach their greatest potential has led to me having more than 12 years of experience in education. During my time as an educator, I have had the honor of serving as a classroom teacher, PYP IB Coordinator, Math Specialist, and an Instructional Coach. Each role has afforded me the opportunity to advance the minds of our youth.
 
I am married and a mother of an amazing little boy. My greatest accomplishments are being an educator, a wife, and a mother. As the Assistant Principal of Heritage Academy, I will continue to focus on student achievement by cultivating an academically challenging learning environment that excites and engages scholars.
 
I am amazed by our students, families, and my colleagues. With the talented and dedicated scholars, staff, and families of Heritage Academy, I believe we can and will achieve excellence. I am truly excited about this school year and the great things to come for the Heritage Eagle Family!
